New Product
Our functional pewter oil lamps have always been popular and we enjoy making them! Here's a sneak peek of a new small example which collectors refer to as Sparking, or Courting Lamps.
According to pewter legend, when the young man came courting, he was allowed to stay as long as the oil lamp was burning. The less favorable suitors would, no doubt, have seen many of these small lamps. Other styles coming soon. Stay tuned!
Antique For Sale
We're offering a wonderful and hard to find Antique English Export Pewter Gallon Double Volute Baluster Measure, circa 1750. The measure is in fine original condition and measures 13" to the top of the thumb piece. We also have other Double Volute Measure sizes available for sale. Please feel free to call with questions.
New! Tall Vase Redesigned...
The Tall Vase is a scaled down version of the Large Vase. It has a wide base and flared upper lip. The three decorative incised lines, two at the top and one at the base add to the beauty of this piece.
Plan a Fall visit
We'd love to see as many of you as possible this Fall. The foliage should be great once temps begin to cool down. The Washington Area Artisans will hold their Studio Tour the weekends of September 29 & 30 and October 6 & 7, 10 am - 4 pm
