Rancho Bosque Equine Center of Excellence |
In my travels both on the western road and the internet highway I meet many folks participating in the equine community. One such individual is Allan Hamilton. Allan is a brain surgeon and has been the Chief of Neurosurgery and the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. He also loves horses and has created a Ranch of well being through equine rehabilitation.
Rancho Bosque is an Equine Center of Excellence built on a private and secluded 17 acre enclave of pastures, trees, and facilities located in the Northeast corner of Tucson, Arizona.
Rancho Bosque lies nestled in the corner formed by the Santa Catalina Mountains to the North and the Rincon Mountains, to the East.Woodland Road, where Rancho Bosque is located, is one of the last areas of riparian habitats in Tucson.
Rancho Bosque is dedicated to providing the highest level of education through positive, supportive, experiential learning.
They seek to improve the well being of individuals, families, and communities through their innovative programs. They work with therapists, community agencies, university programs, hospitals, corporations and governmental bodies to achieve client goals.
In Rancho Bosque Equine Facilitated Programs, the principles of horsemanship are used to guide a personal journey of growth that leads to self-awareness and transformation.

Rocky Mountain Rider Magazine
|
In 1993, when Natalie Riehl started Rocky Mountain Rider in her Hamilton , Montana home, the magazine's circulation was 5,000 copies distributed in 100 locations. By 1996, the one-person business had grown and she hired several employees, moved into an office, and began publishing monthly.
Today, Rocky Mountain Rider Magazine continues with its varied editorial content and is the number one source in the Northern Rockies for keeping horse owners up to date on the region's equine issues - health, land-use, management, legal and political. Each month, 14,000 copies of Rocky Mountain Rider reach readers through 375+ distribution locations in 7 western states - and it is still free!
