Susan L Watkins is a professional animal trainer with more than 30 years experience in animal behavior.

As a very accomplished Horsewoman, her diverse professional experience includes serving as a pack-guide and wrangler for Commercial Pack Stations, starting a variety of breeds for the show ring and the race track.

A renowned specialist in training trick horses even zebras, Sue's work can be seen in numerous television productions and feature films.  She also volunteers as the Mounted Division coordinator and instructor for a Search and Rescue Unit.

A devotee of the traditional Vaquero horsemanship style of old California, Sue relies on a solid foundation of ground work, ranch & trail work, plus formal dressage, to develop solid, responsive horses suitable for any discipline.

Susan is also promoting a great horseman event coming in September. The US Working Equitation Association is planning on bringing Jose M Correia Lopes one of the top Working Equitation judges, competitor and trainer in Portugal to the West Coast this September. A Working Equitation clinic is planned in the Sacramento area the weekend of September 14 - 16 with private lessons also available on the subject of your choice. Steve also has a TV show called "Sure in the Saddle".
When developing show ideas for Sure in the Saddle, Steve wanted a format that would help educate riders of all levels and disciplines.
