by Andrea Waltz If you know anything about the selling houses, you know that listings are the ābread and butterā for a real estate agent. They donāt always turn into salesā but sales donāt usually happen without a listing. Recently, Matthew told me his team sells between 50-100 homes per year and 80% of those are expired, canceled listings, circle prospecting, or FSBO properties. How do they do this volume? He says: āThe way I approach each call is by asking a combination of things:
Have you given up on selling...Ā
How long have you given yourself to sell on your own....Ā
Have you had ANY thoughts of sellingā¦?
These are great Go for No questions. Heās quickly disqualifying people who arenāt interested. He went on to say it can be challenging to get a clearly delineated āNoā but more or less thatās what they are saying.Ā Last year Matthewās Go for No!
approach landed 50 listings.Ā
Now for you: How could you apply what heās doing in your own business?Ā
Get creative. Figure out ways to ask and be like Matthewā¦ get out
there and do it.Ā
