This family-friendly backyard includes a large high-end
swimming pool that is like two pools in one! Along the side of the house is an
85 foot lap pool that connects to a contemporary swimming pool with sheer
decent waterfalls and a Baja shelf. What's a "Baja Shelf"? It
is an over-sized shallow step perfect for lounge chairs and sun tanning.
The Baja shelf on this project includes a splash deck with
12 LED cascading jets. The jets are placed in a circle in the splash deck
and run a variety of different spray patterns to create a fabulous fountain
display. The LED lights under the jets change colors to create a fabulous
nighttime show!
The outdoor kitchen is built of cast in place concrete barbeque
counters that have been seeded with recycled glass chips and then polished.
Scott designed the garden with a variety of drought tolerant
plants that thrive in heavy clay soils.
We are currently building this backyard and can't wait to show it to you when it's finished!
