Here in southern CA we are having a resurgence of whiteflies. Whiteflies are tiny white winged insects that secrete a sticky substance and lay their eggs on the bottoms of leaves.They literally suck the life out of their host plant.
Depending on the species, eggs can be in clusters or spirals.
To control whiteflies, mix plain liquid dish soap with water and spray on infested leaves.There are also sticky traps available, such as Pot Stickers sold by Gardens Alive. Neem oil can also be effective when used on nymphs.

This month we finished several beautiful swimming pools and spas, which are surrounded by fire pits, fire bowls, and outdoor fireplaces, extending the outdoor season year round. Each of these projects also has an outdoor kitchen with a cast in place concrete counter.
