When growing cannabis indoors, grow space for a garden is often limited! This is where CFL grow lights shine! If you have a very small grow space, CFLs may be just what you're
looking for.
Today, I’d like to share some extra tips and hints for growing cannabis with some the cheapest grow lights which also happen to fit in extremely small spaces... CFLs!
Don't have much space to grow indoors? Try
CFLs! What are CFLs?
CFL stands for "compact
fluorescent light" and even though these lights can be found at any hardware or grocery store, they actually give off a really great light spectrum for growing marijuana. Benefits of growing with CFLs
- Cheap
- Easy to find in grocery and home improvement stores
- Suitable for very small or short grow spaces, like the inside of a cupboard, small
grow tent, or even a 5-gallon bucket
CFLs are a great option if you...
- Are growing in a very small or short space
- Plan to grow only 1 plant
- Want to harvest about 1-3 ounces of bud
- Are willing to check on your cannabis every day
- Want to 'try out' growing cannabis without investing much
CFLs are not well suited for growers who...
- Want to harvest more than 3 ounces each grow
- Can’t tend plants regularly
- Have lots of space; if you have at least 5 feet of height in your grow
space, I recommend upgrading to a more efficient grow light.

"Narcotic Kush Automatic by Cream of the Crop Seeds. She was grown under a 300 watt LED panel (real draw only 90 watts) in a 60cm X 60cm X 1.7M high tent. Very frosty, sticky buds with a dry weight of 85 grams. There was more, but I clipped and dried a few buds early because I had run out (you know the score). Great website guys
