10 Great Gifts
for Cannabis Growers & Enthusiasts!
by Nebula Haze
Have a happy cannabis holiday!
The holidays can be a stressful time of year, and some of that stress can come from trying to pick out the best gifts for friends and family. If you know a cannabis grower or enthusiast, you might want to get them a themed gift for the holidays, but what to get? I've given many presents over the years, and just in case it might help somebody else I made a list of some fun and interesting gift ideas for those who love growing and enjoying cannabis!

Make sure to get a present for yourself, too! (At least that's what I do to help get through the month of December every year!)

1.) Magical Butter Machine
I love edibles and I know a lot of other cannabis growers do, too! In my opinion, the worst thing about edibles is they can be a pain to make!

One of the easiest ways to make edibles to your preference is to use "cannabutter" in your favorite recipes. Cannabutter is butter that has been infused with cannabis and can be used just like regular butter to make almost any dish into a potent cannabis edible.

You can make cannabutter at home with basic cooking tools and it's pretty easy, but it requires that you stand by and watch. However, even though making cannabutter the old fashioned way is actually pretty darn easy, some enterprising soul found a way to get a machine to do all the work for you!

The Magical Butter Machine is sort of like a rice cooker for cannabutter. You add decarboxylated cannabis plus butter, and about 2 hours later you pour the infused butter through a strainer and leave it in the fridge overnight to harden. That's it! Now you can use your "magic" butter to turn anything into a marijuana edible!

The Magical Butter Machine makes cannabis-infused butter which can be used with any regular recipe to make edibles!

2.) Hidden Safe

This classic gift is fun but can also be surprisingly useful! There are times many of us want a discreet place to keep our cannabis (or other valuables). These safes look like something ordinary on the outside, but inside there's a hidden compartment to stash your stuff.

I like the hidden safes that look like cleaning supplies:

Why get a safe that looks like cleaner and not soda? Some people might want your unopened soda, but literally, no one will touch the Ajax under your sink! The least likely thing someone will do is come over and give your bathroom a good cleaning :) These stash boxes also have real powder inside so they feel normal when you pick them up and shake them and they come with smell-proof bags to complete the effect.

3.) Smoke Buddy

When it comes to being polite and discreet, it's important not to expose other people to the scent of cannabis! However, when you're breathing out cannabis smoke, its unique smell can fill up the whole room and sometimes spill out into other areas by accident. Those who smoke regularly are far more attuned to the smell and can sense a small amount of weed smoke even in an open ventilated area, but even non-smokers can pick up a small waft and immediately know what they're smelling.

You may have heard of people breathing smoke out into a cardboard toilet paper roll filled with dryer sheets to reduce the smell of smoking. Although homemade devices like that can be effective in a pinch, unsurprisingly, a lot of smell still gets through.

If you've ever wanted a professional version of the same idea, you're in luck! Allow me to introduce you to the Smoke Buddy. Although the model featured below is black, they come in tons of different colors!

How to Get Better Yields!
Which strain breeders can you trust?
These 5 tips and tactics will help increase your indoor cannabis yields with any strain (though the genetics/strain does have a huge effect on your final results and yields)!

How to Improve Your Yields Indoors

  1. Increase Light Intensity (and possibly add CO2 in extreme cases)

  2. Train Plants to Grow Flat Like a Table while they're still in the vegetative stage (free way to produce more bud)

  3. Provide Correct Amount of Nutrients (sometimes less is more, though not providing enough is just as bad!)

  4. Control Growing Environment (let the growing environment work for you)

  5. Harvest Plants Properly (most importantly, don't harvest early!)

Trophy Picture of the Week!

"Chem dawg at its best. This was my best girl by far! She was grown in my legal outdoor crib with 7 other strains pretty close. She was planted the last week of may and harvested the second week of October, due to the milky trichomes. The last four weeks she was fed Mother of All Bud . The first time using it and I am glad I did!"

"Growing cannabis can be a relaxing hobby in and of itself, but it also saves you money and keeps you from having to deal with shady characters. Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any. But whether you want to grow in water, coco, or a different medium, we'll show you how easy it can be!"
