Trichome Method – Quick Overview
Â
By looking closely at the sparkly trichomes on buds, you can determine when to harvest your plants for the highest potency. Here’s a quick guide:
Â
Buds are not ready to harvest (low potency) – Clear trichome heads look like glass
Highest Levels of THC (strong psychoactive effects) – Milky trichome heads look like white plastic
Most Narcotic (stronger body/stone effect, some people feel sleepy) – Amber trichomes look yellow

"5.5 weeks. Regular seeds from non-stabilized indica strain. Just took cuttings from one. Friend wanted me to try it under my new ES300v2, GWE tested one I believe. First run. LST all, 2 with a bit of supercropping. 7 gallon smarts as of yesterday. Flip in 1-2 weeks. Have the headroom. The question..... defoliate or not to defoliate?
P.S. The tall one is my best male for pollen. No longer in the room. Remote flowering for collection and breeding fun! Auto in the corner."
Â
~Kevin B.
Â
These plants are at a stage where they don't need defoliation just yet. This is a fantastic picture, though! ~SiriusÂ

Sirius Fourside:
Sirius Fourside is a hobbyist grower who has gained the bulk of his experience growing in water as a medium (deep water culture, bubbleponics).
"Growing cannabis can be a relaxing hobby in and of itself, but it also saves you money and keeps you from having to deal with shady characters. Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any. But whether you want to grow in water, coco, or a different medium, we'll show you how easy it can be!"
