Issue #495 - Sunday, October 10, 2021
Dear Fellow Grower,
In today's issue...
- Oh, you've done it now! You beautiful so-and-sos have sent in so many great trophy pictures that we were forced to cram a bunch of them into a picture-packed newsletter. It's like a buffet where everything is a weed plant, and you don't gain any weight. That sounds pretty sweet if you ask me.
- Nebula is about to start her auto-flowering grow tomorrow! Will you join her and germinate your own seeds this week?
- The quest to make a list of the best seed banks continues. Can you help by sending us your feedback?
- Wait, isn't the whole newsletter a giant "Trophy Picture of the Week" section? Yup, but that doesn't mean there isn't a Trophy Pics section anyway. This week, we picked one person who gets the whole section to themselves. That's right, even more pics!

At GrowWeedEasy.com, we’ve released a newsletter every Sunday since April of 2012! Somewhere along the way, we started the tradition of having readers send us pictures of their cannabis plants, buds, and plant oddities.
We choose from those pics and post them in our weekly newsletter as “Trophy Pics of the Week”. It’s a privilege to pick out the pictures every week and it seems like you all like the pictures as well.
Every so often, we get so many fantastic photos that we have to make a newsletter that features just pictures. You’re about to get an easy-on-the-eyes look at what our readers have been growing/showing off.
If you want to participate:
- First, make sure you’re signed up for our free weekly newsletter: GWE’s Weekly Newsletter
- Next, submit your pics here: Send In Your Trophy Pics
- Finally, look for your pictures in the Sunday newsletter and do a dance when you see them. If you don’t see them, you can always try again.
Onto the pictures!

Nebula's Next Grow Starts Tomorrow!

It’s time to start my next cannabis grow. With an expected grow time of 10 weeks from seed to harvest, these auto-flowering plants should be ready to harvest before Christmas. It’s going to be exciting!
|
Want to join me?
If you’re thinking about starting a grow, I encourage you to plant your seeds with me. I’m going to start germinating seeds tomorrow (Monday, October 11).
If you germinate your seeds this week, we can do our next grow together 🙂

You need great genetics to grow great weed!

Potential New Seed Banks – Feedback Requested
Crop King Seeds
Last week, I asked about your favorite Canadian seed bank, and multiple people wrote in to recommend Canada-based Crop King Seeds. I haven’t ordered from them yet. For those who have ordered, what do you all think about them? Hit the reply button and let us know!
ILGM (I Love Growing Marijuana)
We mentioned ILGM Seed Bank last week and received over a dozen responses with glowing recommendations, but also one person had a negative experience (we’re currently looking into that case to learn more). If you didn’t write us last week about your experiences with ILGM, please reply to the newsletter and let us know what you think.

"Your website and newsletter is excellent! I’ve got manifolding mastered nicely. I’d like to know how to do a hydro system like you use in the manifolding tutorial. Thank you so much for your “How to’s”. I love your philosophy quotes too. Cheers, keep it up!"
~Dennis
I won't lie, I read this and my day got better. My day was already going well, but it's even better now! 🏆 ~Sirius

"Hi guys, I just wanted to say thanks again for the great news letter. I have used ILGM seeds a couple of times and they are great, good selection, good prices, fast shipping and a very good selection. I would recommend them to every one. Since I have retired I find growing to be the greatest hobby ever lol"
~John
I'm glad you like growing, but be careful. Growing is a hobby that quickly turns into an addiction. One day you're innocently growing a plant or two and the next you're germinating 12 strains at once! ~Sirius
"I've read your articles for years, ever since I began growing cannabis (I'm a seasoned gardener).
Your writing is consistently clear, free of hyperbole, easily understood, fun, free of jargon, and humble. By the looks of your "work," your skills are excellent.
Combining your superb communication and gardening skills, you have become a consistently reliable source for navigating the (oft) circus of cannabis-related info. And for this, I thank you. The world is blessed because of your work.
May God and Nature shine upon you, giving you health and joy.
~Eli
Wow, that was a uplifting compliment! I appreciate you took the time to write something so heartfelt and happy. 💚 ~Sirius

"Would love to be featured in an article or something. Please check out my YouTube channel too: Dave Grows. Thank you!
You guys rock and hope you have a great day/night. Cheers from Ontario."
~Dave
I don't know Dave, but judging by his pictures and Youtube, he's a happy, down-to-earth dude. You get the Trophy spot all to yourself. 🏆 ~Sirius

Is...is the weed stealing his shoes? What a sad world.
(below) One of Dave's huge plants breaks at the base of the stem...

God D*mmit Loch Ness Monster, I ain't gonna give you no tree fiddy.
Did someone on social media offer to sell you seeds?
Be on high alert if someone contacts you, unsolicited, to sell you seeds. It is likely a scam. Legitimate companies wait for you to contact them.
Where should you go for seeds?
Contact the seed breeder through their official social media account or check out their website. Look for a newsletter signup because many breeders do "seed drops" via email only.
Otherwise...

"Growing cannabis can be a relaxing hobby in and of itself, but it also saves you money and keeps you from having to deal with shady characters. Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any. But whether you want to grow in water, coco, or a different medium, we'll show you how easy it can be!"
