actionable marketing guide

Dear ,

I’m back from Internet Summit in Raleigh, where the oak trees were dressed in yellow and women regardless of age are addressed as ma’am.

The conference underscored the need to get out from behind your computer screen and meet people in real life. (BTW—If you’re in Dallas, check out the Digital Summit Dallas.)

I was part of an amazing line up with keynotes by David Pogue from Yahoo, Steve Wozniak from Apple and Robin Wheeler from Twitter. Additionally, I had the pleasure of seeing my friends Rebecca Lieb from Altimeter and Arnie Kuenn from Vertical Measures.

But best of all, I learned the most from the attendees of my Advanced Social Media Workshop. The positive energy in the room was amazing. I wish that we had more time to extend the conversation but as the saying goes, “The show must go on…”

Here are my 3 major take-aways from my workshop for building and maintaining your business’s social media presence:

  • Build your identity on social media.
  • Schedule time to engage regularly.
  • Get your employees involved.

Happy marketing,
Heidi Cohen
