actionable marketing guide

Dear ,

Happy June.

Madison Square is a small New York City park adjacent to where Fifth Avenue and Broadway cross. It’s opposite retailers Eataly, Marrimekko and Lego and the Flatiron building.

Off the beaten track for Manhattanites and tourists alike, Madison Square Park offers a splash of trees, grass and flowers that are home to rotating art installations. It also contains a children’s playground and a dog run. Like the rest of New York City’s parks, it has free WiFi if you want to connect and relay your feelings.
When my mind reaches overload, I take a break in Madison Square and walk a couple of loops around. The outdoor air fills my lungs and my soul. I leave feeling refreshed and inspired seeing the sunlight peak through the flowers. Then I can return to my desk ready to dive into my work again.

The lesson: Even the most productive person needs to take breaks to let their creative self work while you’re otherwise occupied.
This week, we interviewed Dave Kerpen about his latest best-seller, Likeable Social MediaA great book that tells you how to delight your customers and create an irresistible brand.

We'll give away a copy of Likeable Social Media to one lucky winner with a US postal address.*

The winner of last week's book giveaway, a print edition of Carson Tate's, Work Simply, is Conrad Randall. Congratulations Conrad!
* Please understand that while we appreciate that our readers are located around the world, we will only send physical books to people with a US address due to customs issues. We encourage you to sign up to get related goodies even if you don’t have a US postal address for delivery.
Happy marketing,
Heidi
