actionable marketing guide
Dear , Greetings! If you found my content and social media presence lighter than usual last week, there’s a reason for that. I was unplugged and off-the-grid!!! My husband and I took a much-needed vacation to the Bitter End Yacht Club (aka BEYC) located on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands (or BVIs). It’s a favorite spot for sailing sports enthusiasts including wind surfers like my husband. BUT it’s definitely not the place for people who need to
constantly be attached. Despite the proximity to islands owned by Richard Branson of Virgin and Larry Page of Google (yes, you read that correctly), the resort has 2 public wifi stations due to local telecom providers forcing high costs because of scarce
resources. Translation: You’re competing with every child that has a tablet for bandwidth. While I had planned to be
offline for my break, unforeseen circumstances hindered my ability to complete my work before I left. Instead of not publishing anything for a week, I rescheduled the articles that were complete before I left. While not optimal, it still kept my presence alive. If you check, giving my readers more space between
articles meant that more people read each one. What does this mean for your marketing?

I think a lot of marketers think of growing their social media presence and that’s a good way to connect with new people but then you have to deepen your connection with them via your e-mail list. Also really study copywriting. Being able to express yourself well and understand what will move potential buyers into action will help you in every aspect of your business. |
