For beach lovers like me along the north eastern coast of the US, late August is when the ocean waters are finally warm as the days get shorter and people linger longer for those last fading rays of sunshine.
The end of summer brings an energy that’s palatable as people prepare to get
serious about their fall plans. It’s like going back to school, which in the US has become a major promotional season second to the Christmas holidays.
