Hello, my friend!
This week, there was a common thread through what I experienced with the horses. It was this:
be YOU.
There was a special emphasis on recognizing what is aligned with your values. You can learn
from others, but you have to respect and honor what is most important to you.
Sage advice, huh?
(I’m always grateful to the horses for sharing their
wisdom.)
Sometimes this idea of being true to ourselves can be tricky when we are learning something
new, or when we are being guided by a highly regarded mentor. Not to say we can’t stretch a bit and try something new on for size, but if something goes brashly against what is important to us, it could very well be time to pause.
Consider, be curious, and find an aligned balance of what we are doing and what we are
seeking.
We are all unique for a good reason. To add our strengths, gifts and talents into the mix of
people and horses with which we interact.
No cookie cutters.
Be you. Unapologetically.
Say the horses.
Trust yourself enough to know what is good for you and your
horse.
Not to worry, you got this.
Sending you support and encouragement,
Kim and the Hidden Promise herd
P.S. If you'd like to talk about how the herd and I could help you reach a goal you're not
connecting with, reply to this email.
