[igoddess] The virtual circle is back + 5 ways to find (and answer) your heart's calling + Kali: Chaotic Kindness

A journey of a thousand miles...

Oh , you've heard the saying, "A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step," right?

Well, just for the record, I've modified it...
A journey of a thousand miles starts with 15 minutes on the treadmill
and a measly one kilometre.

Yep, you guessed it. I started my new fitness plan this morning. I'm disappointed at how unfit I've become over the loooooooooong winter in Australia's south west. It was just so lovely hunkering down and relaxing by the fire instead of sweating it out in a gym!

But what's done is done, and the consequence of my winter indulgences is that I'm now at the bottom of the fitness mountain. That lousy one kilometre on the treadmill this morning was all I could manage without having a heart attack!
It's not that I want to run a marathon or anything, but I would like to get fit enough to run across a tennis court without grunting!
Ya hear what I'm saying?

I know I have a tough 8 weeks ahead of me with this fitness plan, but the good news is, I'm not alone. I have just posted my request for support on the re-opened the world-renowned "Dear Goddess" support circle -- (previously known as the "Love and Blissings Book") -- a virtual support group for goddess sisters.

<--- This is how happy it made me!

Knowing that I'm not alone -- that there is a sister or two out there thinking positive can-do thoughts about me and for me -- kicks ass.

It's easy-peasy to get involved

  1. Go to the "Dear Goddess" support circle
  2. If you want support, ask for it.
  3. If you have energy, time, resources or love to give, give it.
Simple, yes?! And wonderful!

5 ways to find - and answer - your heart's calling

You've heard the key to happiness is to "follow your heart"? It sounds easy enough, but how do you know what your heart really wants? What is your heart's calling (and even if you find it, how do you answer the call?)

And even more questions...
  • What I am here for?
  • How can I work out what my heart really wants?
  • I thought I was following my heart but something's not right.
  • I want to follow my heart but it's just so hard.
  • How do I work out who I really am?
Ever found yourself asking these questions?

Sucks, hey? They are just so... persistent!

I get these questions (and more) in my Sacred & Savvy Goddess workshops, so rather than answer you all one by one, I decided to mass-share my 5 ways to find - and answer - your heart's calling.
So, get yourself a chai, your journal and a pen, and get ready to delve within! Read more --->

Needing a new start? Kali is here with her chaotic kindness

Kali seemed to be ever-present to me during my 20s.
What a mess!
I was a single mum living in one of the most expensive cities in the world; recovering from an abusive relationship; living from pay-cheque to pay-cheque with zero left over for small luxuries; a lonely single looking for love in all the wrong places...

Something had to happen to improve my lot.

It did... Kali happened.

She came into my life and booted me in the backside! It was her way of getting me off my chaotic path and to be "reborn" as a stronger, wiser, healthier and happier human being.

Because of her, I got serious about my career, I built wealth enough to own three properties by the age of 33 (and still as a single mother), and I got the courage to start some serious work on my feminine divine. (That one took a few years -- not surprising considering I had such a low sense of self-worth when I began.)

But anyway, knowing that Kali tossed me around for a bit made me thankful for her tough love. I ended up in a better place that when I started.

If you are having the carpet pulled from under you right now, take comfort that Kali will ensure you end up in a better place than now.

xx
Anita
