Why would you need Blodeuwedd's message today?
Blodeuwedd’s journey from radiance to her nocturnal existence represents the evolution of beauty – blossoming youth eventually wilts, but with this comes the wisdom of age.
More About Blodeuwedd
The Welsh flower goddess, Blodeuwedd, was created from nine kinds of wildflowers – oak, meadowsweet, broom, cockle, bean, nettle, chestnut, primrose, and hawthorn – and given the name, flower-face.
… If Blodeuwedd were in your situation she wouldn’t mourn the loss of her youthful radiance. Instead, she would embrace the wisdom of age that replaces youth.
Heart Chakra Hack #1: Fill your cup.
Share this fabliss analogy for choosing love…
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone bumps into you, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
“Well because someone bumped into me, of course!”
Ba-baaaaaaam. Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
*Whatever is inside the cup, is what will spill out.*
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which DOES happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It’s easy to fake it, until you get bumped.
So the question to ask yourself… “What’s in my cup?”
When life gets tough, what spills over?
—> Joy, gratitude, kindness and humility?
—> Or anger, cutting words and harsh reactions?
You choose! I choose to fill my cup with affirmative words of gratitude, and an attitude of humility, grace, kindness and compassion. This is the inner beauty I intend to cultivate. So may it shine and “spill forth”!
