Conscious Communication
BJ was a master of communication. One cool Hawaiian winter's day we were sipping our morning Kona coffee and he said this to me: "Tony, there's no subject you can start out with that I couldn't end us up at its highest point of view."
"I don't understand," I said.
"No matter what you're talking about - whether it's the ball scores or your latest dramas and traumas - I will eventually steer it around in the direction of its highest perspective. Oh sure, we could continue chatting about the weather and all sorts of mundane topics - the number of those things is endless - and we would easily keep ourselves distracted forever, lost in the burning issues of the day. But what fun is that? What good would that do us?"
I didn't answer him because I was still trying to figure out where he was going with all this. Meanwhile, he went over to the counter, poured himself another cup of coffee, then stood there in the middle of the makeshift kitchen warming his hands on the mug.
"You see, Tony, our job, as the lightworkers of our time, is to help bring people into a closer connection with their highest possible state of Being. And we do this, first, by shining our own light as bright as we can; and second, by communicating consciously. By that, I mean we do our best to notice the openings in our conversations where we can raise the level of information we're talking about. Instead of continually bouncing around from one subject to another, or allowing ourselves to be carried along by the momentum of someone else's current challenges, we take advantage of the opportunities or openings in the conversation to lift everything up a notch. This is how we not only keep ourselves more awake, we also awaken our friends at the same time.
It was as if a light bulb just went off in my head. "In other words," I said, "you're always alert and aware of where your conversations are headed. And you are consciously pointing them toward a higher ground, yes?"
"Exactly!" he replied. "And, like I said earlier, it doesn't matter what the other person is talking about. Regardless of where they start out, we're eventually going to end up at the Highest Good. We're going to end up at God."

Pre-Ordering Get What You Want
We are very pleased to announce that Viva Editions of Berkeley, CA has bought the rights to publish our Intenders Bridge Messages into a full length book. They have changed the title to Get What You Want: The Art of Making and Manifesting Your Intentions and they have also rearranged the formatting and put it together into one beautifully bound 356 page volume.

Over the years we have had so many people ask us to bring The Bridge Messages out in a book format and we had been intending that this happen when our good friend, Brenda Knight, presented us with a prospectus for getting this wonderful information out to the world on a much larger scale. Get What You Want hits the shelves of all the major bookstores on October 1st and we will be touring again from Ashland to Albuquerque in the months of October and November doing book signings, etc.

The Vision Alignment Project Nears 1 Million Alignments
It's a wonderful feeling to create something that is having such an empowering effect on so many people. When I was awakened in the middle of the night with the idea for the VAP I was so excited about it: I just knew it was something that was needed in our world today. And now, at over 925,000 Alignments it is clear that my original projection of reaching a Million Alignments will be reached on or before the December 21st winter solstice of this year.
So . . . first of all, we here at Intenders central, want to thank you - all of you - who have contributed Visions to this one-of-a-kind project and we would also like to thank all of you who have Aligned with our Visions. You have made a difference in our world and you continue to do so. We humbly ask that you keep Aligning with our Visions because the VAP has the potential to reach Ten Million or more people in the days ahead - because, you see, here's how it works . . .

Intenders Peace Movements
Last month two new Peace Movements were unveiled by Intenders around the country. Debra Ward from Houston launched her new web site at http://www.getpeacehere.com and Bret McCormick of Dallas/Ft. Worth released his new film, I See World Peace.

We met Bret McCormick at Carmel Temple in South Houston a couple of years ago when he announced that he was going to make a movie of people talking about seeing Peace already having manifested in our World. Since this endeavor is in such close alignment with our Vision Alignment Project we have kept in touch with Bret and even participated by sharing our a few of our own Visions for World Peace on this uplifting film.
That said, I received a call from Bret last week letting me know that I See World Peace DVD was finished, and would I like a copy? Three days later it arrived and I watched it and immediately felt like I had just heard from some of the most caring, heartfelt and wise people on the planet. When it was over, I felt enriched and more positive about the future for all of us because several new perspectives about World Peace had made their way into my life.

A Message from Lee Ching and Tina
I also had the pleasure of spending a hour on the phone with Lee Ching last week. Coming through my good friend and original Intender, Tina Stober, we talked about my dream which is to be on Oprah or Ellen and show the people of the world how to do an Intenders Circle and line up with the Highest Good. He told me that this is coming and that on our tours we have been connecting the dots across the country - dots that would have remained disconnected had we not been there. He suggested that I imagine myself looking down at a map from above and seeing how the energy has shifted because we were there. Where all the lights got brighter, we were there . . .
I can't tell you how insightful and encouraging this chat was. As most of you know, I've been driving back and forth across this country for many years after having left my Hawaiian home because I realized that I was to be an ambassador for Intention-making and the Highest Good, as well as a Grassroots Community maker. Of course, I have done my best to live this calling, and it has caused me to put my own teachings to the test every step of the way. Indeed, there have been many times when the money wasn't there or the resistances seemed overwhelming, but I have kept to my calling - and that was what Lee Ching was saying toward the end of our hour together.
In fact, what he was saying to me could also be a very timely message for many of you who are reading this. He said, "People are starting to see that things are not as they seem in this 3-D realm. Things in the days ahead are going to look very different than people are thinking. It's like a huge 'Aha!' is going to take place in our world and in our economy and everything will be upleveled in a new way.
"The Real Power is at the Grassroots level where you have been laying the groundwork for all these years. Keep on stepping out, and stepping off the edge on occasion. Keep on living your dream, for that is what so many have let go by the wayside in these pivotal days. They're not writing that book they set out to finish; or they're not working on their dream house, or their relationship, or their life's calling. They've lost their motivation. But you have kept on shining your light and doing the work that you came here to do, so I say this to you now: Don't give up. Don't quit. Keep on with your dream. You can still have it."

She typically accepts donations of from $50 to $200 for an hour of her time, and as you can see, she is extremely intuitive.
Vicki's Remarkable Crafts
Over the years we have featured the beautiful handicrafts created by our Intenders Office Manager, Vicki Harding, because they are so particularly remarkable. Our Intenders Talking Feathers are used like a Native American Talking Stick in our Intenders Circle to insure that only the person holding the feather is allowed to share their Gratitudes and Intentions at that time. Our Highest Light Pendulums are becoming more popular each day now as more people are finding out, intuitively, that they can be Divinely Guided in their discerning and decision-making by trusting in the power of the pendulum. In short, pendulums and divining rods work!
  
And finally, Vicki's Crystal Heart Necklaces are truly special in that she is an avid rockhound who collects these amazing quartz stones on her yearly trips to the mines in Arkansas. Vicki loves gathering these powerful crystals and making them into beautiful necklaces. She even blesses each one before sending it out to you.
