Create Your World
Tony Burroughs, Author and co-creator of The Intenders, recently shared an article with Inspire Me Today Ezine that we would love to share with our loyal Intenders.
If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I'd want to pass along to others...
As we look out across the landscape of our behavior in these times of great change, we see that many people are way too quick to talk about themselves and others in the negative. We tend, oh-so-easily, to bring up our latest drama, or our friend's health imbalance, or the challenges of the world at large.
And yet, what many of us are learning (and thus integrating into our daily lives) is that it serves us and our fellow travelers so much better when we see good, say good and do good - and there's a good reason for this.
Since what we're talking about all day long is what we're creating for ourselves in the minutes, hours and days ahead, wouldn't it be wiser for us to keep our thoughts and words on the positive - and only on the positive?
In the old days it was common for me to be sitting around with friends and casually discussing all sorts of unwanted experiences. But that's in the past. I don't do it anymore. Indeed, why would I want to put my attention on any experience that I wouldn't want to bring into creation?
Said another way, if we truly desire to create a better life for ourselves, both personally as well as collectively, we head in the exact opposite of where we really want to go every time we we bring our unserving thoughts to light by talking about them.
The Ninth Intent of The Code: 10 Intentions for a Better World says, "I create my ideal world by envisioning it and telling others about it."
In other words, what we share in our casual conversation today is becoming tomorrow's reality - and that's a good thing as long as we keep our attention on the positive, on the highest good of all. After that, all we need is trust.
Clearly, one of the hallmarks of our time is that we are learning to trust at a much deeper level than we've ever trusted before. With each day that passes, more and more of us are trusting, to the depth and breadth of our soul, that the Law of Attraction, Precipitation and Manifestation works.
We're trusting that our thoughts do, in fact, create our future. And we're trusting that everything improves immensely for us when we become increasingly more vigilant and aware of what it is we're creating with our everyday thoughts and words.

A Vision for a Healthy Workplace
Today we would like to share a beautiful Vision that came in recently from Los Angeles Intender Dan Doggett:
We see our corporate executives finding new and generous ways to give to their employees showing they value those who so diligently carry out their daily duties. We see raises and bonuses given to all workers in larger percentages and dollar amounts to recognize their efforts. We see all corporations improving their interest and care of their workers with more extensive benefits and perks than ever before.
As a result, we see happier and healthier workers better able to balance their lives with joy and time for their spouses and children, their hobbies and goals, and time with nature.
We see a world more productive and better cared for than ever, with everyone doing what they can for the Highest Good, for the universe, ourselves and everyone everywhere.

Love-Based Leadership
I remember when I began to work on my dissertation in post-graduate school and interviewing faculty members as potential committee members for my study. I gave them my outline for the model of leadership that I wanted to introduce into the great body of knowledge. This would ultimately become my dissertation.
After speaking with several professors, one of the deans spoke with me about my leadership model and told me that people would not understand it, because one particular word in my model would be confusing and turn them off. They would not support the study because it was too controversial. I was shocked!
Even more importantly, I was disappointed, and most profoundly, I was disillusioned. How could this one word be so controversial as to cause a problem in an advanced study of leadership? How could we talk and theorize about motivating and inspiring others without talking about this one word, which is the most powerful force on this planet?
I started questioning many aspects of leadership. What did leadership really mean? What did follower-ship really mean without using this word? How could people not be drawn to this word, and even more shocking, how could this word be so controversial as to turn people off? So what is this powerful, scary, misunderstood word?
L-O-V-E.
Love!

Change Begins With Intention
Every experience, and every change in your experience, reflects an intention. An intention is not only a desire. It is the use of your will. It's your spiritual attitude,
so to speak. If you do not like the relationship you have with food, or the way your body looks, feels and performs, for example, and you would like it to be different,
that desire alone will not change your relationship to these things. If you truly desire to change your nutrition, health and body, that change begins with the
intention to change these. How it will change depends upon the intention that you set. This happens, because intention will open you to new perceptions.
It opens up how, and what, you're seeing. It reorients you so you can see clearly from that perspective what is necessary to change, based on the intention you've set.
Intending - you gotta use, use, use it!
