For the last many years, Intenders Cofounder, Tony Burroughs, has been traveling to Intenders Circles across the country making friends and sharing what he's learned about intention-making, manifesting, networking and bringing people together in community. Throughout this entire journey Tony has downplayed his own role in creating the Intenders while emphasizing the messages and models of the Intenders community itself. People, however, are always asking to know more about Tony and his work - so, in response, we are launching Tony's new website here today - www.tonyburroughs.net.

We Surpassed 2 Million Alignments!

Drumroll, please! We reached the 2 Million Alignments mark at The Vision Alignment Project last month and the Intenders want to thank each and every one of you who has Aligned with our Visions for a Better World. In doing so you are bringing us all closer, step by step, to our highest calling. You are making a difference and paving the way for so many others to follow. Now that we have momentum going we are raising the bar again and intending that we reach the 3,000,000 Alignments mark in record time. It is also our intention now that this one-of-a-kind Vision Alignment Project be noticed within the mainstream and that people everywhere set aside their old ways and begin to bring these inspiring Visions to life.

A Vision for Welcoming the Stranger

In the Spirit of ringing out the old and bringing in the new, we share a new Vision with you now that we received two weeks ago from Laura Carrington Duckett in Knoxville, TN. What with all the separatist hubbub in the news lately about immigration issues, this Vision is as timely as it is eloquent. Thank you for this one, Laura!

We live in a world where we understand we are all connected and are One. So, we understand when we welcome a stranger, we are welcoming ourselves. We understand the suffering of others is truly our own suffering, evident in our empathy and heartbreak for another’s past experience. So, when we feed, clothe or house a family fleeing their homeland, we are feeding, clothing, housing and protecting ourselves. With them, we see violence and oppression as truly a thing of the past and therefore instantly move into and own our peaceful now. We understand we live in abundance, with more than enough blessings to house, clothe and feed us all. And, we see that when we share our blessings, all blessings are multiplied. All of the people from different countries and nationalities come together and acknowledge we are One. So, naturally, we respect, love and care for the needs of everyone who come to our shores and welcome them into our lives, hearts and minds. And so it is!
