Not long after we'd begun our fledgling intention-making group, we started adding the Highest Good phrase after stating our gratitudes and intentions. Up to this point, it felt like something was missing in our intentions; we certainly didn't want to be manifesting anything that harmed or impeded anyone else's path in life. Not only that, but I felt that we needed a foolproof method, a safety valve, in order to make sure that our intentions were pure, and that we
weren't bringing unwanted experiences into our lives.
When I asked Lee Ching about this, his gentle reply was to have a great effect on our entire group, as well as the lives of all those we touched from then on. "Tony," he said, "what you say is what you get. When you include the Highest Good phrase at the end of your intentions, according to the Law of Attraction, it insures that if your intention is for the Highest Good, it will manifest - and if it's not for the Highest Good, it won't
manifest."
Two and a half decades later, I've found Lee Ching's words to be timeless and true. Indeed, I've seen so many of my fellow Intenders manifest their dreams using the Highest Good phrase - and I've seen many times when my friends' intentions weren't manifested because, as it turned out, they clearly weren't in the highest and best interests of everyone concerned. I have even witnessed instances where newcomers would purposely leave off the Highest Good phrase when
they stubbornly wanted their intention to manifest, whether it was for the Highest Good or not. But, in the long run, the ensuing miscreation was always disastrous. Without exception, they wished they'd never made that intention in the first place.
(Throughout this book, you'll come across several passages entitled, "Mainstream Miscreations." A miscreation is an unloving manifestation that doesn't serve you or anyone else, and doesn't end up with the outcomes you're intending for. We recommend that you pay close attention to these miscreations, so that you'll be less apt to manifest them in your life from now on.)
