[Newsletter] 26 October 2022: Idolizing Rasulullah s.a.w.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You in any way, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know. Ameen.

Anas ibn Malik r.a. narrated that the Messenger of Allah s.a.w. said: "Very fortunate are those who believe in me and have seen me, very lucky are those who believe in me and have not seen me seven times."

This hadith clearly brings good news for us, the people of the Messenger of Allah s.a.w., who believe in him, even though they have never seen the figure of the greatest leader of the people. No kidding, even our luck is seven times that of our friends. But this lucky condition is also not a joke. There must be faith in the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

One indicator of the existence of faith in the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. in our hearts is the feeling of love for the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. In a hadith, it is stated that the Messenger of Allah s.a.w. said: "None of you believes until I am more beloved to him than his parents, his children and all of mankind."

Let us honestly ask each other's heart. "Have we loved the Messenger of Allah s.a.w. more than parents, children, and all humans?" It seems we have a lot of istighfar.

To love the Messenger of Allah s.a.w. completely requires a process and effort that must be carried out with all the soul. There must be awareness and desire from the heart to be able to love Rasulullah s.a.w. How can we not want to love the Messenger of Allah s.a.w., while it is his intercession that will save us from the torment of hell fire.

Likewise, to love the Prophet s.a.w. more and more we need to often read his soul-stirring stories. We need to often talk about the Prophet s.a.w. with all the perfection of reason and character. We try to liven up the Sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w. in our daily life, starting from the simplest.

Equipped with a prayer to Allah s.w.t. so that the love for Rasulullah s.a.w. is entered in our hearts, Insyaallah gradually we will love Rasulullah s.a.w. more and more. Humans that we should love more than parents, children or all humans.

Men of Islam: Solat Workshop

Starting Tomorrow,

8pm - 9:30pm

Friday Evening - You go to a masjid wanting to do your Friday prayers. After the Khatib ends his Khutbah; everyone proceeds to stand up, fill up the gaps and align themselves to the proper Saf. - You realise that some of our brothers put their legs close, while some put their shoulders together.

Then as the Solat commences and ends, you come to a sudden realisation and unknowingly take notice of some things;

- Why do some place their toes on the ground when they sit down during solat and others don't?

- Why do some people move their fingers while takhiyyat akhir, while some don't?

Learn more about Solat through the; Men of Islam: Solat Workshop! Understand and internalise the correct way of Solat to ensure near-to-perfect ibadah for our daily lives. Together with Ustaz Hakim Yaakob, Every Monday, starting 26 Oct 22; 8pm - 9:30pm. On top of that a physical session on the second last day at Islamicevent's Studio!

That is for the person who will face death. But how about the family or relatives?

It's very easy to say stay calm and be strong but without the proper knowledge and guidance many times that will not be the case. In some instances, family members break down and make irrational decisions which may cause more problems.

This course will cover the basics of the different cases/situations that will arise in such situations.
