If you’ve taken a good self-assessment, then you know how good it feels to receive that report that seems to know you, yet also helps you see yourself in a new light.
I’m inspired to write you today (despite my long pause from sending newsletters) because I took a well-regarded self-assessment last week that renewed my love for the Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI).
Last week’s assessment was one I’d never heard of. I expected big things because it was highly talked up to me, took a full hour to complete, and was real challenging. Yet it didn’t deliver the eye-opening results I was expecting.
This experience renewed my appreciation of the MBTI and made me want to help others have a good self-assessment experience.
If you’re interested in getting to know yourself better and understand your personality, how you learn and think, and how other personalities are different….then I highly recommend taking the MBTI.
I first took the MBTI when I was at a crossroads.
I was ready to leave the music industry. I had temporarily returned home to Chicago to help my mom as she battled terminal cancer. Planning ahead, I wanted to be able to return to Los Angeles with a new sense of direction – and that required first taking a good look in the mirror.
The MBTI helps you take a great look in the mirror. I’ll never forget the clarity the assessment gave me at a time when I really needed it.
The MBTI can help you better understand yourself, your boss, your coworkers, and what you want from your life and career.
My love for the MBTI is what led me to get certified as an MBTI practitioner.
Being certified means I can interpret your assessment results in a “verification” session. Talking through your
results with someone who knows the assessment can help work through nuances that a computerized test can miss. The verification session can determine your best fit personality type, which may differ from the initial assessment result.
You can take the MBTI now and then do a verification session with me. We’ll spend up to 90 minutes together by phone talking through your assessment and verifying your best fit personality type.
The test takes around 30 minutes. Once I get an alert that you’ve completed the test, we’ll connect to schedule our call together. You’ll receive your assessment results after our verification session. That way our conversation can be free from bias.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing in this experience with you!
Best,
Marc

P.P.S. Once you complete payment, you’ll end up on the same page of my site as the people who subscribe to my career video interview library. But don’t worry – you’re not subscribing to anything by signing up for the MBTI, even if you see the word “subscription”
anywhere. It’s just a weird quirk on my site.
