My TBR
stack is out of hand. I'm not sure there are enough years in my life left to read all the books on my shelves and on my tablet. With that said, I'm not reading as much as I want to. I'm having a heck of a time deciding what to read. I'm about 30 pages into multiple books, including Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover (which I picked up when I saw a Book Toker ugly crying about it), Birds of California by Kate Cotugno (which I'm actually 135 pages into), Under the Whispering Door by
TJ Klune (I so loved his House at the Cerulean Sea), and Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. I'm enjoying them all, but just aren't finishing them.Â
Â
The other issue is that when I go to pick a new book, I stare at all of them, unable to decide what to read,
not because they don't interest me, but because they all interest me.Â
Â
Do you have this issue? Too many books to read and not being able to decide what to read next?

Writing Life
I got one rejection from an audio publisher on recording Drawn to Her. Ouch. I hate rejections. It's still out with a couple of other publishers. Fingers crossed someone wants to take it on.
Â
Risk It All (Delecoeur book 1) is out of KU, but still available for 99 cents. Or, you can read it free over at Wattpad. I want to give a shout out to my friend and fellow author, Suzy England (a Wattpad Star) for telling her peeps about it. Â
Â
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is coming and I'm grappling with what to write (it's sort of the same issue with reading...so many ideas to choose from). Should I write the next Valentine novel or the next Delecoeur one? Should I start something completely different? Sticking with my sleuthing couple theme from last week, I have an idea for a Bewitched like couple (witch and a
human) only with murder mysteries. Do you have any suggestions? What would you like to read next from me?

Speaking of NaNoWriMo, over at Write with Harte, my online community for romance writers, I'm hosting Preptober and Writevember to help other would-be or
experienced writers plan and succeed at NaNoWriMo or another goal you choose for November. If you've been thinking of writing a romance, check out the Preptober & Writevember challenge. It's FREE!
