Question: Am I right in thinking that Stampin Up has more than one kind of black ink. What's the difference? Different shades? Different uses?

Answer: Yes, there are two kinds of black ink Stampin’ Up! carries:

• Tuxedo Black Memento ink 
• Jet Black Stazon ink

They both have ink refills available.

The Tuxedo Black Memento ink is the one I use the most for stamping black images or greetings. It is also great for stamping an outline image and then colouring in those images with the Stampin’ Up! Blends markers, which are alcohol-based. The black won’t fade against the alcohol of the Blends markers.

Jet Black Stazon ink is a solvent-based ink that is perfect for stamping on non-porous surfaces like acetate, plastic bags, or coasters. It is also the ink you want to use if you are colouring with a water painter or a paintbrush, so that the ink will not bleed.

My Loyalty Rewards program will end on August 31, 2024.  That means any orders up to and including August 31, 2024 (following the 2-year rule stated in the full rewards plan HERE) will still qualify.  You have until September 30^th to redeem any unclaimed tracker forms.  There will be no extensions or exceptions to these dates.
