What’s up there Jets fans,
Well the start of a new football season is upon us one again. So let me ask you something very cliché… ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!
Raiders Suck
Our Jets take on the Oakland Raiders at 1pm this Sunday and Peabody’s is sure to be jam packed with fans rooting for our J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets.
We’re expecting a big crowd on Sunday as opening day always brings everybody in (old timers and rookies) all excited with the promise of a new Jets season.
Peabody’s will be having their famous all you can drink specials and I’ve been told that a brand new HD overhead system is being installed tomorrow. Hopefully that will mean the best looking and highest quality Jets game we’ve ever seen at Peabody’s!
I don’t know about you but I’m feeling pretty good about this year’s team. Sure we have a few spots that we can use some help. But, if we can catch a few breaks here and there, I think we’re going to have a great season. Rex and the coaching staff should have the defense looking solid again and with the new weapons we’ve added on offense we can hopefully be a true contender this year!
If you haven’t been out yet to a Jets game at Peabodys… well, what the hell are you waiting for? Opening day is always a great day to come out, see some old friends or make some new ones while we cheer on our J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets. And of course if you’re a regular at our fan club gathering, it will just be great to see your Jets family again after a long off-season.
Expect the usual fan club favorites including the 50/50 raffle, lot’s of JETS Chants, group participation for every Jets first down, rookie member flag signings and a whole lot more.
I’m pumped up and I hope you are too.

My given name may be Steve but my friends have been calling me Festa for the last 30 years. While I really miss going to all the JETS home games and tailgating with a large group of friends, it’s really great being here in Tampa around other JETS fans while we root for our team. When I founded the fan club in October of 2004 I never imagined it would become as massive as it now has with over 600 members from around the world and sister Fan Club Chapters in 4 other Florida cities and growing.
