Join us at 1pm for a Big Game Against the Lions

Hey Jets fans,
I know it’s still early in the season but the game tomorrow against the Lions is a big one. The last two games have seen some very positive signs from both sides of the ball. However, mental mistakes and a few really shitty calls (that EACH cost us a touchdown) have got us sitting at 1-2 and in need of a big win against a pretty good team.
Tomorrow’s game at home is a “must win” (yes I said it) for our Jets of else we end the first 1/4 of the season in a terrible position. However, heading into San Diego next week 2-2 would be a helluva lot better for my mental health than 1-3 don’t ya think?
So…, I’m really hoping that all of our awesome Jets Fans here in Tampa will come out to show their support for the boys in green! The game is at 1pm and isn’t on regular TV so please come out and join your Jets family at Peabodys. If you haven’t been out to Peabodys yet, now is the time to do it. We have a brand spanking new HD projection system along with some great new food specials and our all-you-can-drink draft beer special.
To top it off, I’ve already heard from Super Bowl III Champ Earl Christy who told me he’d be at the game with us leading the cheer.
In other news for Sunday, I’m going to be introducing a brand new Jets Shot called the Jet Fighter… wait till you see what it is, it’s sure to be a big hit. For now… it’s Top Secret!
I’ve also purchased a bunch of great new items for our 50/50 raffle. Here’s a preview of what to expect.
Finally, I wanted to remind everyone to mark Dec. 14th on their calendars. That’s the day we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary as a Jets Fan Club. We’re planning for it to begin at 12 noon with lots of fun stuff for everyone. Still looking for a few vendors who would like to participate, and we’re likely going to have a band and more. Our sister clubs from Sarasota and Orlando are also expected to appear so it should be an awesome celebration of 10 amazing years. I hope you can all make it.
Gotta run for now. Looking forward to seeing a big crowd tomorrow for a Big Jets win.

My given name may be Steve but my friends have been calling me Festa for the last 30 years. While I really miss going to all the JETS home games and tailgating with a large group of friends, it’s really great being here in Tampa around other JETS fans while we root for our team.
