Sure or JETS are 1-8. Sure it’s unlikely we’re going to win against a QB that’s setting records in back to back weeks. Sure we’re really sucking big time this year.

But I don’t care. Ya wanna know why? Because Sunday is my 49th birthday.  And win or lose I want to celebrate with my Jets family.

The last time the Jets played on the actual day of my birth we crushed the Arizona Cardinals 44-0. While I’m not expecting anything like that this Sunday, I am hopeful that the Jets are simply due and am even more hopeful they can pull off a crazy big win for my B-Day.

I’m expecting Rich Lyons (brother of famed Sack Exchange member Marty Lyons) to be back with his ultimate dream Super Bowl raffle that includes tickets, airfare, accommodations and cash! All proceeds benefit the Marty Lyons Foundation helping sick kids realize dreams.

We’ll also be pulling the drawing for the ALS raffles being offered by our Social Media director Rob McGruder who will be coming off his ALS Ride on Saturday. The prizes include an autographed 8×10 photo of all the Sack Exchange members and two autographed mini helmets.  Great prizes for a great cause.

But like I said…it would just make me really happy to see all of you guys who have helped make every week worth all the time and effort I put into this crazy thing we’ve created at the fan club celebrating with me.

If we win I can share it with you all and if we lose (AGAIN) I can cry on a few of your shoulder.

Either way, I’ll be there to cheer on our Jets. I hope you all will be there too.

You guys all make it worth it! You’re the greatest Jets fans of them all.
