John Sherman was diagnosed with moderate to severe Alzheimer's Disease a year ago and we’ve been on a wild ride since then.
John has been slowly losing his short-term memory, his logical thinking, and his ability to acquire and retain new information. But although his cognitive abilities are declining, the essence of him is still very much here, as always.
He laughs every time he can’t figure out how to say what he wants to say and his state of mind is always positive and optimistic.
After much soul-searching, I’ve decided that as John’s mental health deteriorates, I will continue the work of Just One Look and I will do my best to carry on John’s legacy while caring for him at home.
If you have it in your heart to help us, your donation would make a huge difference now. Some of our regular donations have dropped off recently due to the pandemic, so I’m hoping we can receive an increase in our monthly donations of at least $870. But truly, any amount will be very helpful.
