The mail had come and I noticed one was from my paternal grand mother.
The classical cassette tape I had lovingly gifted for her April birthday
had been returned in May.
It was joined with a very unflattering
note.
It said that I was a very inconsiderate, thoughtless, uncaring grand daughter.
The note got worse as it berated me for not staying in touch
with the woman who lived across the country.
I remember my high school sweetheart who had handed me the letter
and his friend were sitting close.
Inside was a check, which in my tears I thought was for
$20
to cover my trouble for the cassette tape.
I was so upset that the grand mother who had taken me on adventures
from Taos New Mexico to Indonesia
Felt so lowly of me.
In my disgust and rage I proceeded to rip up the check.
My boyfriend and his friend jumped up to undo the deed.
But it was too
late!
They told me to look at the amount on the check again.
I wasn't in a place to do that in a fit of tears.
I soon pieced together this was the inheritance check from my late grand father
who passed a year earlier for $20,000,
not $20.
Both my grandmother and I are Aries
with my
birthday in March and hers and May.
I stubbornly declared that I didn't care about the check, still in shock.
The acquaintance eagerly offered to do a bunch of chores for me
if I let him tape the check back together.
A couple years later when my grandmother came to visit the house
my boyfriend and I were rehabbing,
We had done much to
patch up our relationship.
I got another check to replace the one I had destroyed.
Both too proud to recall the previous stand off.
Years later, this moment wasn't lost on me as I began working with prospects and clients
through a process called Scripting For Success to help them manifest
their happily-ever-after
story.
When they complained that they loved what I did but were too broke to pay me,
I realized there were some gaps in my Scripting For Success services.
Seeing the earlier version of me wanting to be of service in a big way
I began to explore their financial block.
I knew about the law of tithing.
Give 10% of your
income and reap 10X's that amount in more abundance.
That was great and all, but these prospects and clients were about to shut their spas doors
or face pending legal challenges
or be homeless.
Early on it dawned on me, what would happen if
we tithed the time, sweat and tears that the client already
gave?
After all Einstein says:
"Energy cannot be created or destroyed,
it can only be changed from one form to another."
They too had denied their birthright and inheritance.
They also denied their value compensation.
In fact as I helped calculate time and time
again the majority of people
I've worked with 50 years and older
have stubbornly pushed away somewhere between $200,000-$500,000
of unpaid goods and services!
(My more affluent subjects, calculated missed career/ project opportunities in the millions.)
The income they unwittingly/energetically
refused ranged from:
unpaid paid overtime at work
pay cuts to avoid layoffs
countless unpaid work in the family business
self employed begrudgingly doing all the jobs to run their business and household
(that they could have paid someone else to do more efficiently,)
that took away time from doing more of their genius/paid work for
clients.
Also taking care of aging and sick loved ones and
sacrificing hours driving back and forth and missed work.
This wide spread epidemic of undervaluing, and cutting off the supply of abundance
has also come in the form of lawsuits, outstanding debts with clients,
bartering or postponing pay for business opportunities that never panned
out.
I've even seen a huge energy shift for clients who have calculated the years wasted
on depression, self loathing, feeling unworthy, an imposter around sharing their life changing gifts.
Once they rescripted their story from victim to generous philanthropists
so pretty cool gifts, job and project opportunities, unexpected income, new clients, government
checks...
came into their possession!
I stumbled on Debt Into Abundance when the thought came to me:
"Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors."
It dawned on me that forgiveness of ourselves and others was an inside job.
I've seen in a two hour face to face, dining room table Scripting
session,
a woman who had the expert help of a weekly rabbi and counselor for two years
seething with rage for her cheating husband
go through my 7 step Debt Into Abundance process -
(Now we are calling it Asset Growth process!)
It took the first hour just forgive her cheating ex
and then we co wrote him an actual love
letter thanking him for their kids and farm.
After the first hour of rage had passed and we moved into a place of gratitude, hope and acceptance
We took the love letter into a powerful heart meditation that is best described as
Telepathic communication with anyone around the world, known and unknown
through the heart
chakra...
It puts your spoken word on loud speaker and whatever is said/felt in the meditation
is magnified across the network of countless individuals we are all spiritually connected.
If you go into the meditation with anger, rage, sadness, anything that isn't filled with love
you get a real demonstration on negative
karma
as that energy is sent back to you (a bazillion fold!)
Within a week of that two hour session, my client got an unexpected check
for $8,000 from her weekly $100/session client.
And if like magic, the soon to be ex who didn't want a divorce
or want to have to pay alimony for two years,
suddenly and calmly gave my
client the paperwork
to start mediation/ divorce proceedings
without any more physical communication.
That was one of a couple clients in a short time
that helped me develop my "7 step Debt Into Abundance" system.
that I published with a number of best selling authors in a chapter of a book called:
"Achieve Anything,
Anytime, Anywhere"
Looking back, I'm grateful for the years of resentments,
undercharging, under valuing myself.
Because I've witnessed time and time again clients
who changed those stories/memories
from "victim to victor".
"broke to generous
philanthropist".
It's really quite exciting to see smart educated people
with multiple degrees and years of experience
of undervaluing themselves and on the verge of poverty or loosing their home
change their story in a matter of weeks
and sometimes in hours of our intense emotional work
together.
I never wanted to be a therapist.
Yet, ever since I was a preteen and I started reading my mom's self help books
I wanted to be an transformational change agent, writer and speaker
like Tony Robbins, Mark Victor Hansen, Jack Canfield, Oprah!
Thanks to my 9th grade teacher, Steve Lamm, who dubbed
me,
"The Writer Of Our Lives"
for what I wrote in creative writing class came true days later
on a profound mental and emotional level
in science lab.
Now for over a decade, I have that opportunity to really make a difference with my
private and group Scripting
clients.
