So to immediately cash in on the lighter rules right now, we are testing our new (usually) unguided Bird Photography tour for Easter - with one big difference - this one is guided. I am guiding in Cusco and in Lima, and Juan Julca shall be guiding in the North. If you like our 7 Wonders Birding
concept, it is possible to only join half the trip - either the first part or the second part.
It should be possible to find extremely good deals for flights right now. So get the tickets asap.
Since we have bird guides with us at all times, the itinerary is just as good for traditional birders as for bird photographers who want to spend time at the feeding stations. The onsite guides will help the stationary photographers with identification and setups, if the main guide is walking the trails with the birders.
The original idea is to take bird photographers in groups of up to 10 people to the best places in Peru where there are setups for bird photographers, such as feeders and hides
Especially, Asian bird photographers like to just stay put in one spot and wait for the birds to come to a fruiting tree or a feeding station. This type of program could become very popular among Asian bird photographers, so running this pilot trip with bird guides is a way to finetune the future program with a fixed itinerary to the best birds in Peru with very good hotels at a budget price. All flights, entrance fees and most meals are included in the cost.
Here is an outline of the program. An excursion to Machu Picchu is organised as a day trip for those that wish.
