'Fall' for Larnaka this Autumn
  Larnaka autumns are simply lovely! There is a crisp hint in the morning and evening air, but temperatures remain warm during the day. This temperate climate offers the best of all worlds and activities, with lots lined up this season. Larnaka’s diving tourism is boosted with the welcome news of a forthcoming artificial reef, and visitors to the region can enjoy our award-winning complimentary winter experiences programme again. For a spot of culture, take a visit to Pyla and Pervolia, where new historical discoveries have been made. And of course, there is still the option to swim in the sea - a true autumn luxury!  

‘Hope’ to Enhance Diving Tourism


Larnaka’s reputation as a diving destination will be boosted further with the welcome announcement that an artificial reef will be created soon, adding to the region’s underwater allure for both novice and professional divers.


Larnaka Tourism Hits High


Larnaka is enjoying a starring role in Cyprus’ tourism sector following a record summer of arrivals and hotel bookings, with further city and boutique hotels planned for this year and the next.


Award-winning Winter Experiences Return


The Free Winter Experiences programme for Larnaka region hotel guests is returning for its fifth year, and has also been officially recognised with a TripAdvisor ‘2017 Certificate of Excellence’.


Ancient Treasures – New Information


The villages of Larnaka region are historical treasure troves. With new discoveries and information about the archaeological wonders of Pervolia and Pyla recently in the spotlight, autumn is a great time to visit both.


Phenomenal Success for Eco-ashtrays


The LTB’s initiative to keep Larnaka’s beaches free of cigarette ends by placing stands of reusable eco-ashtrays on 10 organised coasts has concluded for this year… and the results are in!


Popular Pyla Honours Visitors


Our Larnaka’s Loyal Friends scheme continues to award tourists who have visited Larnaka region consistently for many years. Most recently, 10 couples from England and Ireland were honoured for their love of Pyla.
