Priceless pleasures
|
Hey ,
the low winter sun from my window is displaying a dense carpet of gossamer spider webs.
Thousands of tiny "money spiders" are feverishly spinning webs.
Some of them are getting blown across my window. Caught in the breeze, not fighting against it.
These little spiders only live for a few days but they all sync up at the same time.
Like a huge flock of birds that seemingly changes direction together in mid air.
It's incredible how they fly separately, but as one.
You'll find the longer you play guitar the more you attract other people who are musical and artistic.
And when this happens you'll open up a new opportunity for learning.
Learning from others. Playing together.
And once you've been playing with the same people for a while you will sync up in the same way as these spiders.
One of the greatest pleasures of playing guitar with others is that shared feeling of joy when you both love the song you're playing.
When you bring it to life in your own way. You can't hide the smiles on your faces when the song feels right.
It's priceless.
For those of you who have shared this you will know what I mean, for those of you who are not ready then one way or another it will happen eventually.
Just by playing guitar and learning you are opening up that dimension of one day sharing songs with others.
So keep on playing and have a great weekend,
Drue James
