Hey , every week without fail I feel scared to death of what I'm going to share with you next. Ever since my father died I have used these emails to share who I am with you, rather than what I do. I feel there's limitless more interest in the person, rather than their activities. When we meet people for the first time
we often ask "What do you do?" This always seems like a non descript question... "I do many things... I take out the bins, I turn protein into muscle mass" But we know it refers to employment. Depending on the answer we make further small talk and judgements based on that persons profession. Although it would sound weird in a small talk situation to
ask... "Tell me who you really are, I want to know your goals, your fears and what makes you feel alive" This is really what I love to chat about with other people. I'm not a fan of small talk, instead I prefer Big Talk. That's how my emails have evolved over the last 6 years. I don't talk to you like I barely know you. Not
anymore... I have overcome that fear. I lay myself bare so hopefully you can see the person behind the lessons. Keep on playing,
Drue James
