embarrassing question? |
Hey , after 6 years in the making my Intermediate Acoustic Course is nearly ready for release. Why has it taken so long? As a teacher it's an embarrassing question to answer but here goes... When I started teaching I specialised in beginners. I felt comfortable with beginner players as they
didn't test my own skill level. And as the years progressed those beginners turned into intermediate players. This meant I had to raise my teaching game and come up with enjoyable intermediate lessons. It took a colossal amount of trial and error to come up with intermediate techniques/songs/theory that could be understood, applied and enjoyed by my students. This is the
reason the online course has taken so long. All of my courses are taught and refined with people just like you who are learning and playing guitar on a regular basis. I'm not comfortable releasing lessons that are purely in my head, and not used in the real world. So yes, 6 years is a long time to create a guitar course, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll let you know when it's
ready and you will get 5 lessons for free as you're a member of the LGIL Student Area. LGIL Premium Members will get the full course delivered on the 30th of June. Keep on playing,
Drue James
