Hey , let's talk about goosebumps. The chills. When music connects us to something so powerful that it moves us physically. Causing the hairs on our body to stand on end and releasing a euphoric feeling. This is potentially controversial so bare with
me... For me music is the only artform that's ever given me the chills. Films come a close second, but I've never watched anything that's given me the euphoric chills like music does. I've never stared at a piece of artwork and been moved in the same way. I'm not belittling other artforms in their expression, I'm just stating that music is the only thing that comes close into
rallying such an emotional response within me. When I get the chills it rewards and validates my path as a musician. If your own music and song interpretations can only touch one person it should be you. When people pay to see a show yes they're watching to hear musicians at the top of their game, but they're also watching to feel something. And if the musicians on stage
aren't feeling their music deeply then the audience won't connect as deeply. Enjoying your own music is crucial to gaining an audience that loves it as much as you do! I know many of you aren't thinking of performing anytime soon and for that I hope you will forgive me. I have a show coming up and I wanted to share my thoughts. I will be videoing the songs from this show and I
cannot wait to share them with you all! Keep on playing,
