the subject line of this email is probably the sound you make when your practice is getting tough. When you hit a brick wall (which we all do BTW) frustration can sometimes get the better of us.

I'm not going to bombard you with clichés, well ok just one...

Smash through it. Or at least chip your way through it with a rock hammer (Any Shawshank Redemption fans out there?)

​This might sound weird but I like hearing people get frustrated at guitar. It shows they're passionate and that they WANT to make it happen. That attitude can't be bought and it's essential to mastering some areas of guitar playing. 

The biggest (Arghhhhhh) moment for most beginners usually comes when playing and changing between barre chords. They are tough. They take many chips at that wall and it will take persistence and determination to get there.
