[DJ] Latest Song Lessons to Motivate + Inspire You.

Published: Wed, 02/25/15

Hi ,

before we get into the new lessons let me tell you something that is VERY important when learning guitar:

Consistency

To make solid progress you must stay consistent in your playing habits. But what happens when life gets in the way.

Sure, we all have on and off days. We're only human after all.

When you have an off day with guitar it's all about how you bounce back. Let me give you a personal example.

Last week sucked for me. I don't want to go into details, but the bottom line is I didn't upload any new videos to the LGIL Channel.

But I've made a commitment (which has turned into a habit) to make regular lessons so here's what I've done this week to turn it around?

Starting today I'll be uploading a new lesson everyday until Saturday.

That's 4 new lessons.

Here's the first one:

I Will Wait - Mumford & Sons - Free TAB

If you skip a day/week of playing then remember that commitment you made to learn guitar.

If you play at the same time everyday and you keep this going for over 2 months then you're developing a positive habit.

That can only be a good thing right?

Here's a round up of the latest lessons:

Let Her Go - Passenger (Beginner Friendly Version)

The Only Exception - Paramore (Beginners Song that works on strumming)

Stop Crying Your Heart Out - Oasis (Classic song for all you indie fans out there)

Keep on playing,

Drue James.

P.S. You'll notice that the LGIL site is now a lot faster. It's all part of an exciting new website re-launch that will be finished by the end of April 2015.
