Hi ,

here's something that might shock you.

I would NEVER record another guitar lesson again if I kept thinking I'm not as good as other teachers.

I will always need to improve, but if I kept comparing myself to my idols then I wouldn't even bother.

When you compare yourself to other guitarists you're detracting away from your own love of music.

Fact:

There will always be someone better than you at guitar.

The sooner you can except this the faster your playing will progress.

Competition can be healthy in certain areas of life but music is not about being better than someone else.

It's about enjoying the time you have with your guitar.

If you thought you'd be as good as Hendrix by now then you've missed my point.
