do you ever get the feeling that someone's listening to your guitar practice?

When I first started I got this feeling all the time. Let me explain...

It felt like someone was listening in and saying "This guy can't play guitar, why is he even trying?"

The good news is that over time my confidence grew and this feeling started to disappear. 

What I learnt is that experience builds confidence.

And confidence kills fear. (In this case the fear was that doubting voice that someone was listening in)

Once the fear is gone (or at least tamed, wait until you play your first song in front of someone) you're then free focus whole heartedly on enjoying the music.

Take it from me, if you've ever had these feelings they WILL disappear over time.

P.S. Most of the time this feeling happened because I wasn't confident with my rhythm guitar.
