Hi ,

do you recognise the song lyric in the subject heading?

It was written by the late Leonard Cohen in his timeless song Hallelujah.

The original song was 80 verses long. (imagine learning all those words!!!)

Cohen once told Bob Dylan that it took him 2 years to write it.

While Jeff Buckley's version remains the most memorable, there have more than 100 versions recorded so far.

When asked about the meaning he said "It explains that many kinds of hallelujahs do exist, and all the perfect and broken hallelujahs have equal value."
