[DJ] Get Out Of Your Guitar Practice Rut

Published: Sat, 02/24/18

Hello ,

stop me if this sounds familiar...

You've learnt a few songs and you're playing is going well.

But the thrill is gone.

You're playing the same 5 songs over and over.

But it's boring and it's not testing you anymore.

You've tried taking on more impressive songs, but it didn't work out.

The barre chords were too hard or the fingerstyle was out of your
reach.

It was easier to go back to the “good ole familiar”

Comfortable, but frustrating.

These "playing ruts" can be difficult to break out of.

The trick to changing your practice routine is not too eat a whole
meal in one bite.

Smaller, easier to digest song lessons are a more fun and effective
way to increase your guitar skills.

They will also boost your motivation as every little bit adds up.

That's why all of the lessons at The Premium Student Area are short, fun and designed to build up your skill level without overwhelming you.

Don't bite of more than you can chew.

It's only going to sink you further into a rut.

Keep on playing and stay inspired,
