Hello ,
not all fingerstyle songs have to be epic masterpieces.
Sometimes the most fun songs to play are short and catchy. But there's another reason as well...
It's a lot easier to memorise shorter
songs.
This means you don't have to multi-task with reading TAB and playing the song :)
Over the last 6 years of teaching fingerstyle online these 3 lessons have proven to be the most popular (and the most fun for students to play.)
Click the blue lesson links

1) Fast Car – Tracy Chapman (Everyone knows this classic folk song. The riff is really fun to play and has just the right amount of movement
around the neck.)
2) Prayer In C – (You probably won't recognise the title of this song, but trust me, you've heard it before. This rhythmical
fingerstyle riff uses fret slaps and hammer ons.)
3) House Of The Rising Sun – (A
classic chord sequence that is instantly recognisable. It's had over 85,000 views on YouTube.)
Is there any I've missed?
