Hey , if you're playing is feeling blank and uninspired here are 3 simple solutions: 1: Go Back To The Beginning There's a reason you're reading my words. There's a reason you're learning guitar. You have musical motivation in your body, your soul. It drives you. You love music. Perhaps somewhere in your guitar journey you've lost your way. Overloaded with songs, lessons and techniques. Perhaps you're burnt out from trying to learn the same song over and over? None of these things matter when you bring it back to enjoying music. Play the first song you ever learnt. Listen to the music that you love the most. By doing this you will nurture and rekindle your motivation and passion for learning. 2: Practising For What? If you set a goal for your practice you'll always be motivated. I wouldn't practice at all if it wasn't for performing on stage or filming lessons for you. These are my goals. Find your own, write them down and make them happen. 3: Setting A Timer And A
Pat On The Back. Setting a timer to your practice can be useful. It doesn't work for everyone, but it's especially useful for beginners. Set a timer for 5 minutes and practice an area of guitar. Be it scales, chords, songs or rhythm. Rinse and repeat. Once you've completed your time (I recommend 20 to 30 minutes every day) give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back. Other ways to stay inspired and practice every day:
