Dear Ones -
OK, here comes the fun part!
After years of hard and joyful labor, my new novel "The Signature of All Things" is beginning to inch its way out into the world. I have just received the very first review copies of the book, which will soon be finding their way to the desks of book critics, editors and writers all over the place.
I want you all to read this book, and I hate to wait till October, so here is my plan. Once a month for the next six months, I will be giving away one advance copy of the novel to one lucky reader.
Here's how it will work: I will ask you all a simple question (not a trivia question or trick question, but a basic question of opinion or passion) and then I will pick the answer I like best, and I will personally send you, the winner, an autographed early copy of the novel. Better still, I will give you, the winner, a choice of which cover you would prefer. You can either have a copy with the lovely green British cover, or with the lovely ivory American cover. (The contents of the books are precisely the same, mind you, but I would like you to have the cover you really love!)
