Hey ,
Don't worry, contrary to how the subject of this email sounds, I haven't started a cult and I'm not about to invite you to join a pyramid scheme. I do, however, have some exciting news!
But, before I get into that, how are you? How is summer treating you?
I hope you've been enjoying, hydrating, resting and healing, but if not, I hope you've had at least some moments of joy over the past few months.
I last sent a newsletter in March and if you've been connecting with me for a while, you'll know I don't follow a schedule and I only get in touch when I have something to share that I think may be of interest to you.
For me, the past several months have been an emotional rollercoaster, moving between joy, overwhelm, optimism, disappointment and gratitude. So just life really.
A few heart-filling things have happened too. I am an aunty again as my sister brought my nephew earth-side in May. My mum also celebrated her 60th birthday last week and one of my favourite people tied the knot.
The other exciting thing that has happened and the reason I'm getting in touch with you today is that I am starting a podcast!
Well, technically I'm not sure it is a podcast... but it will be available via all popular streaming platforms.
I won't be chit chatting about all things journaling and self-care by myself or interviewing anyone on the subjects either. Instead each episode will be a bite-sized guided journaling session of approximately 20 minutes where I guide you through a collection of prompts using a variety of journaling techniques, with music.
Through my work and many conversations with others, I am aware that despite wanting to, many people struggle to start or maintain a journaling practice, most commonly because they don’t have the time or simply because they don’t know what to write.
By creating a podcast it means you can access a guided journaling session at any time and from practically any place - at home, in the park or on a train or plane. It also encourages you to
take time out for yourself, at least once a week.
Unlike with a journaling workshop, the podcast format also means you can revisit the guided sessions as often as you like - for free!
And if you find that once a week is not enough, I am offering a subscription option with the podcast where you have exclusive access to a weekly journaling prompt pack that accompanies each
episode.
The prompt pack for episode 1 will be available to anyone until midnight GMT, Saturday August 6.
I really hope you are as excited about the podcast as I am and if you do check it out, I'd love your feedback.
Finally, there are 3 new blog posts up on the website that you might like to check out. Details below.
