Which is more important when you need the help?
- Finding someone who does excellent work?
- Finding a Christian who does the same type of work, but not with excellence?
I see so many people in the marketplace who believe people should only do business with "believers" simply because they claim to be "believers."
- Does calling yourself a "believer" automatically mean you should get the business?
- Does calling yourself a "believer"
automatically mean you are any good at your work?
- Does putting a symbol on your wristband, bumper, vehicle, office door, etc. automatically mean others should do business with you?
If you were
bleeding out the back of your head who would you want to help you stay alive - a "believer" who is sorta good at closing a gaping wound, or a "pre-believer" who pursues excellence and does excellent work?
Why is it that within the "body of believers" many deem
it selfish ambition for others to pursue excellence while living up to a standard of mediocrity themselves? What if some "believers" just suck at their jobs and the quality of their work lacks any recognizable excellence?
Should "believers" pursue
excellence in their work?
