Hopefully you've enjoyed the first 2 parts of my 50 at 50 life thoughts and tips; either way, here's part 3 ... hope
some help - oh and Happy Valentines .... I love you just for reading this 😍
2️⃣1️⃣If you’re regularly feeling exhausted, consider; your sleep routine, your
water, your daily movement , your food choices , your mindset (what you’re thinking about)- it WILL be one of those.
2️⃣2️⃣ No matter where you are, you CAN
learn something from everyone you meet; therefore treat everyone with that respect
2️⃣3️⃣If you’re losing focus in a day, change your environment, down tools and
take a minimum of 5 mins away - it can help
2️⃣4️⃣ Carbohydrates will make you gain weight - the key is in the name CarboHYDRATE. Our body stores water
molecules attached to stored carbs (glycogen) as its needed when they’re broken down for energy - this is why you can weigh more after a carb heavy weekend or holiday … they don’t make us gain fat though!
2️⃣5️⃣ Digestive and hormonal changes are a big cause of hormonal and digestive symptoms beyond 40. We can’t keep eating and drinking the same foods/drinks and expect to feel/look the same. Limiting sugary, rich, spicy, white-based carbs and alcohol often help.
2️⃣6️⃣ If you’ve never tried magnesium give it a month (Relaxes muscles so aids sleep, helps with mood and stress hormones, responsible for energy production, helps with bone and muscle health)
2️⃣7️⃣ If you’ve never tried a sleep story try one on your phone at bed time (Calm app or similar, gives a relaxing sound and a subconscious focus to switch brain off)
2️⃣8️⃣ If you’ve never tried meditation try a guided one (Calm app, YouTube etc;improved mental health, improves focus, mood, productivity and sleep)
2️⃣9️⃣ If you’ve never tried sleep teas, buy a box, and try one 60mins before bed each night
3️⃣0️⃣ If you’ve never worked with me, and/or you’ve had enough of feeling how you currently do, and would like some support and help to make some ‘self-changes’, just ask {Asking is probably the hardest, but quickest part!}
