Hope you've found some of the tips and thoughts this week of use or at least triggered some thoughts ........
Anyhow here's the last 10 to finish off the week, and my first at 50!
Enjoy your weekend!
4️⃣1️⃣ Intuition can be your biggest tool in life. Listening to ‘that voice’, head and heart inside. It’s like a muscle and the more often you use it and listen to it,
the stronger it becomes - don’t be swayed too often!
4️⃣2️⃣ A change of environment is a great change. Get bored, lose focus, over think? Change what you’re
doing or where you’re doing it.
4️⃣3️⃣ A higher protein (over carb) breakfast will always be a winner for energy, mood and focus for the morning.
4️⃣4️⃣ It ain’t all about the scales and weight. Sure if you want to lose weight it’s a goal, but place the focus on the steps to get there as weightloss is a
by-product of choices and action - focussing just on weightloss will be a lonely road.
4️⃣5️⃣ Try the 2 minute rule with a new routine - If you’re struggling to
implement something new, like exercise, set yourself a 2minute goal, and that’s all you’re going to do. You may get to 2 mins then do more, but never less. Often it’s starting that brings the biggest resistance, so set a mental timer that is small to overcome that - go 1 minute if needed … repeat for a week and gradually increase the time.
4️⃣6️⃣ Rule of 2 - Like above ‘falling off the wagon’ is a big mindset crush when things don’t go to plan, even if success is NEVER 100% or EVERYDAY. If this happens shrug it off, and just make it a priority the next day. Never go 2 days missed in a row, this is when routines start to form.
4️⃣7️⃣ Slow down often - there’s a time to be operating at 100mph in a day, but we can’t operate at that speed overly often, It’s a recipe for a crash, after all, how much do we take in
when driving fast versus slow?!
4️⃣8️⃣ Find yourself lacking ‘willpower’ around something? Consider changing what you’re trying to do - willpower is often needed
around things we don’t want to be doing or are too challenging currently.
4️⃣9️⃣ Practice DOESN’T make perfect, it makes permanent. Therefore keep an eye on what
you’re doing and how you’re doing it.
5️⃣0️⃣ Most of all take time out for you. Nobody comes along and says “Hey X let me help you out with things” - it’s
sometimes about saying “No” to certain things, prioritising yourself and making sure things happen for you. After all, everyone around you benefits from a better you, and nobody benefits from a burnt out you.
