HR218 LEOSA TRAINING COURSE

The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) is a United States federal law, enacted in 2004, that allows two classes of persons—the "qualified law enforcement officer" and the "qualified retired law enforcement officer" -- to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction in the United States, regardless of any state or local law to the contrary, with certain exceptions. Fee for this class is $50.00. There will be a $40.00 fee for each additional firearm you choose to qualify with

8 Hour Annual Firearms Training Course for Armed Security Guards:

Saturday, July 16, 2022 beginning at 9am

Saturday, July 23, 2022 beginning at 9am

This course is a review of the 47 Hour Firearms Training Course which includes
complete familiarization with and discussion of, Article 35 of the New York State Penal
Law, the nomenclature for all service weapons which the security guard is authorized to
carry in the performance of his/her duties. Use of firearms and standard safety
precautions will be emphasized. Loading and Unloading, sighting, proper grip, trigger
control and effective range of the respective weapons will be covered. All authorized
weapons will be fired for familiarization. All service handguns which the security guard
is authorized to carry in the performance of his/her duties will be fired for qualification.
The course includes ammunition and targets. Fee for this class is $125.00.
